I have a 00' CC after reading the about the 10' MTX 6000 and the thunderform box I have finally decided to buy one. My question was what amp should I buy? I have read a couple complaints about trying to fit amps under the seat...I had the same problem with my current set up. Dose anyone recomend an amp that will fit under the seat and still have enough power to push these subs?

At the moment I'm running the MTX4202 bridged down to one channel...it's only about 280 watts that way but to me it still sounds really good...and I've had people tell me that it sounds better than their's and they have 2 12" subs...so I'm really happy with it and it's less than $200 and you can get it on ebay for about $110 from "IndoAudio" that is who I bought mine from about 8 months ago...

If you can find one the old US amps usa150 will fit , The new model may , I have since switched to a Arc Audoio 2100 and it fits under the seat , Also you can put on in the middle consle like I do !! I have a soundstream lil wonder 4 for my components in my console and a arc 2100 cxl under my pass seat for my subs .Same truck ......

I have 2 amps..14" x 11" x 2.5"...I mounnted them at the bottom of the rear panels. Works good. You can even cut out the sheetmetal and build a tray if needed

Get a memphis amp. they are all long and skinny, so they will fit under your seat, maybe stick out a little in the back, if you get a powerful one.
may be a little bit pricey, but if youre gonna spend $230ish for a decent amp, might as well get an excellent one for a little more.
just my opinion.

Thanks for the help....I think I'm gonna go with 500w Fosgate amp. Dose the MTX 4202 really put out that much power? The only thing I can think of is that the amp is designed specificaly for these speakers. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
