Hi all you GEN III Dodge Dakota Regular Cab trucks,

I am still looking to either buy or build a pair of truck boxes that would fit in my 1997 Dodge Dakota Regular Cab. I want to fit two 10" subs behind my bucket seats and center console (one behind each seat).

Will everyone with a regular cab truck post their dimensions of their boxes (NOT BLOWTHROUGHS) and send/post the pictures of their setups? Did you loose a lot of space behind the seats? My main concern is depth of the box. Also what subwoofer brands are you using?

You can send the pics to me if you want at: OffRoad322@aol.com or post them here.

Thanks.

I have a 2002 regular cab Dakota with a bench seat. I was wondering if anyone had done any custom fiberglass work on an enclosure behind the seats that would still seat a 5-10 person. I was thinking of installing two eights with an amp between them in a custom fiberglass enclosure. I am pretty sure that there would be enough room for the small speakers but I don't have that much experience with Fiberglass. If anyone has done something like this or might be able to point me in the right direction Thanks in advance :)

sure send me your email address (sapinto@stthomas.edu). I don't have bucket seats though, so the center sub might not work so well :)

Hey Offroad322, here are the demensions of my box that fits two 10 inch subs behind the bucket seats and centre console. I also can put my third seat back in instead if i want and have that fit perfectly as well with full use of it. So this size of box works for both. The top is exactly 2". The bottom is exactly 8". The height is approx 15 1/4" (i might be off by a 1/4 of an inch). and the length of it is exactly 46". I had to bend the jack holder to make it fit and cut the carpet that went over the jack as well. But now it looks like there was never any jack there and the carpet fits better i find. Hopefully this helps a bit. I think you looked at my webpage a little while ago and asked me. But heres the webpage again to look at a pic of it.
