Subject: cheapest method - sound deadning? IP: Logged
Message: cant really afford dynamat for my reg. cab, is there something that can be bought at a hardware store that has simliar effects? ive heard about a rubberized spray for $4 dollars a can. also any cheap knockoffs of dynamat? any replies would help thanks

Message: The spray can help.Glue pieces of wood to larger areas,thats cheap,check out some roofing Ice shield,Mace brand is good,at a building supply store.

Message: I used the spray stuff + went to home depot and picked up a roll of carpet padding. 16 bucks a roll. Get the dense stuff. It cut down on the road noise and makes the tunes sound much better when the volume is low(which isn't much). Hope that helps ya out.
