i have a 2000 dak sport with reg cab. i had the guys at this audio place make me a pair of sub boxes for some diamond subs. i didnt know if they were any good when i bought them. they were designed for small spaces. they sound really good. i got a 600 watt rated kenwood amp running both of them. i still have a problem though. the boxes are really good but i had to move my seat up quite a bit. sure it sounds really great but it gets uncomfortable sometimes. what i plan on doing is making a box for in between the seats. i have somewhat of a plan on how i am going to do this. i want the a box mounted between the seats but i still want my arm rest, haha. so i am thinking that i am going to take the armrest off and mount it onto a box made of mdf board. i dont know if i should use the mdf or plywood. i plan on mounting the armrest on the top of this box. i could make a nice hardwood top to mount the armrest onto; or maybe a cloth top to match the interior. if you do it right both could look really good. the problem is the ammount of work it would take to make this. i dont think i helped anyone. i am just throwing out ideas i have had.my question is if this is possable, and has anyone done this before? if anyone could give me anymore ideas i would like it.
