Is anybody running these component speakers in their Dak?
I have an 01 QC with the infinity system and would like to upgrade the front speakers.
How do you like the CMMD mid and tweeters?
Are they too bright?
Can they be run off of the stock amp?

I'm considering the same setup.
Crutchfield has the 60.2's on sale for $199.
Yes you would need another amp. They take 90 rms.

You are talking about the 60.2's which have the older Kappa green (pearl mica?) cones. I was originally refering to the 60.3's with the newer CMMD (Composite Metal Matrix Design) cones, like those in their home lines (IL60's) The newer cones go a little deeper and have a one decible higher SPL at one watt.
If anybody has either set-up, I would appreciate their input as both are viable options. I would think the major difference is the tweeter. which is less harsh?
