Message: Well i had the same problem. I have almost the exact same setup but with a 10 inch polk audio. I would run one channel with the full 350w if you only want to run the sub. The box i used i ordered. I rather buy a sturdy box then build one(to much headache and time...f%^k it). I don't if your truck is a standard or a club. I have a standard cab so i ordered a box made to fit made by Q Logic. The specificatiions......16-1/4" in height, 28-1/8" in width, 7-11/16" for the bottom depth. 5-1/16" for the top depth. Those numbers come directly from crutchfield audio. Also i'm sure your amp runs off of a 25 amp fuse so if you do want to leave room to grow, i wouldn't get a 10 wire kit.
