I had a JL Audio ProWedge Box that was a custom fir for all STANDARD Cab trucks. It was a 10" W1 which could only handle 125 RMS. (which was extremely loud in an small truck). The ProWedge made by Jl is a good box and its perfect. I am going to get rid of my box and get a custom Box made for a Kicker Solobaric L7. I suggest that you just go to your local Car Audio Store and ask them if they can make you anything that will fit.

i'll sell you a kicker comp vr 10. the older one with a sigle 4 ohm voice coil in a box that fits behind the seat in a standard cab for 70 obo. it is rated at 300 rms.
scott as for that L7 i don't think there is room behind the seat for that. That sub needs a certain amout of space between the magnet and the back of the box. the sub has a vented pole peice and needs to be away from the box. but if it works let me know. i have a L5 12 i want to build a console for and have it fire to the back of the cab. Is that an L7 12 or 10 cuz i would sell you an L5 12 if u are interested.

I built a custom box for my 02 dokota sport for 2,12" subs. No stereo shop in my area would touch it. One problem is I had to raise my seat about 2.5", so my amp would fit under the seat. Still the amount of bass produced was worth a few inches of lost head room.

I BUILT A SWEET CENTER CONSOLE THAT HOUSES A JL AUDIO 10W3. ITS A DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR THE CENTER SECTION OF THE 40-20-40 SPLIT BENCH SEAT IN DAKOTAS. THE SUB FIRES TOWARD THE BACK WALL FOR ST. CAB TRUCK AND BOX LOOKS AND SOUNDS GREAT. EMAIL ME AT IBSRJOE@SBCGLOBAL.NET FOR PICS IF INTERESTED.
