I live in Texas and have the MTX Thunderform with original MTX 10's for sale. I thought it sounded great in my 98 318 cc, but just had to buy an 01 rc R/T. Any takers?

Yes, just the box and speakers, I bought the one without the amp. The speakers are 8 ohm each bridged to 4 ohms into one conection. It should fit in your 97 cc, I had it in a 98 cc. I am not sure how much shipping will be, but this thing weighs quite a bit.

You can order new from Crutchfield for $369 plus shipping. Mine is in perfect shape and I am asking $200 plus shipping. Saves you $169, thats almost half price!
