Subject: DAK Boxes? IP: Logged
Message: Do they make any boxes for subs that fit in a 98 Regular cab Sport? if not has anyone made them and what were the specs? Also... The Front speakers are obviously more powerful than the rear ones. If i were to hook up some 6x9's should i reverse the front speaker conectiion with the back. Or would there already be enough power going to the back. It seams that the fader wont make the back stock speakers any louder, but instead make the front quieter. Any help would be a great thanks.

Message: I have just got done building a box that fits pretty well behind my seat. (01 RC Dakota) I lose about one click on my seat depth and a little angle on the back of the seat. But still comfortable for a 6 foot tall 18 year old. I took some pictures of my HDF before I cut out the peices ( The entire box was made from one single sheet of 3/4 in HDF) I will try and post those here soon. I am not sure if the dimensions will show up in the picture or not, if they don't I will just write them down. I was lookin for this kind of information before I built the box but couldnt find any so this is from the mind of a first time builder. I havent calculated the cu/ft of air space in them yet, but I will post that probably tonight after I do. I am going to be very limited on what subs will fit in this box.
