 Subject: stock amp question

All my mids and lows went out in my 95 dodge dakota with all stock system. I replaced the deck, and to my surprise the mids and lows are still out. I always thought the amp was built into the stock radio head. Is there a separate amp elsewhere?

I am not sure about the 95 dakota but in my 97 i had two factory installed amps in the passenger side kick panel, one was easy to get to the other is way up in there.
Check that out, hope it helps
