Digital Audio DATW10E 10" Sealed 5/8" MDF Truck Box (pair) - 0.517cf each

and fill 'em with:

CDT MS-100 10" Subwoofer w/ 4ohm voice coil - 150 watts RMS 10": .45-.90 cu.ft.

the zeb has them on sale for $79 a piece

I have the boxes already and they fit behind the rear seats with little mods (have to move the jack, and it would be even easier if you could move the air vents)

I might have to get me some of those CDT's and try it out...

Plastic moldings? I'm not real sure what your talking about, but I have taken my seats out and can fit both boxes behind the seats. There is JUST barely enough room behind the smaller seat, and the larger seat s no problem. But if you could find a way to remove those plastic air vents, you would have no problem at all. Also, if you wanted to, take the material off of the back of the seats, and remove the smaller metal bars from the back of the seats.(In between the yello filling and the material) I took mine out just in case, and it didn't change the feel of the seat when remounted at all. But you don't need to. OH, and to make even more room, take that thick wall of whatever that stuff is? material off of the back wall, and cut it where the back wall bends away from where the seats are. You will need to put the top piece back on because you can see it when the seats are replaced. And of course, you won't be able to fold the seats up after you get it all in, :(

sweet, the moulding i was refering to was on the outter edges on either side of the seats, covering the pillars, i think, covering something anyways. But im glad they fit anyways, i was planning on removing that material off the wall too. Where you putting your amp?, did you have any room between the vents?, are you gonna run amps for the door speakers?

well the amps are another story. I have seen someone mount them to the back wall, but with the speaker boxes there, I don't think they will fit... so I guess either under the front seats or something??? I ain't got that far yet :)

whats the depth of the sub?, and what volume does it require, cause its kinda small box for a 10", and if you put two, amp location is kinda difficult becuase under the seats is kinda small and akward for any decent size amps, ill be making a fiberglass enclosure over the christmas break to replace the center console and still look stock, then i can mount the amps behind the seat like TonyC has. if i ever get the money to buy the stuff ill post pics

Hey Guys,

Look into a custom audio shop and have them reenforce your back doors and remold the door panels. Then they can mount a couple of nice subs in the doors. They will stick out a couple of inches but it works nice and looks stock. Has to be a good shop though. If not it will look cheesy nad sound bad.
