Build them yourself for about $50, its not that hard and is kinda of fun. The Q-forms a thin plastic with no backs, not very good conditions for mid bass speakers.

Message: R/Truck , that post looks good..but unfortunately that was in a Nissan , and there was no parking brake in the way like on our Daks. How could that be done on our trucks, and still be able to use the brake? If it sounds like I'm comming off sarcastic,I'm not. I just want to know, looks like it would improve the soundstage.

Message: That website was to help you build some kicks.
I mounted mine forward of the emergency brake and aimed up. You can still use the brake about 75%, however if you have a standard transmission then forget about component speakers in custom kick panel. I have an auto so it doesn't bother me but it could present a problem for those who need it. You may look into Dynaudio component speakers, they have a 3" mid and 1" tweeter that requires no airspace. You could sqeeze those into a kick panel with out messing up anything. The only problem with that is the speakers cost a lot.
The Q-forms can be modified with a little dynamat so that they are sealed up and don't vibrate. May be a better option.
On my truck (2001 R/T) the computer is right behind the drivers side kick panel and emergency brake. I don't know if you will be able to get much of a speaker in there with out 1. moving the computer 2. blocking the brake some 3. mounting them so far under the dash you can't hear it 4. have them stick out a such an odd angle that they take up all your foot room.

Message: I said right behind the drivers side kick panel is the computer. That would be the left kick panel.
I don't have anything behind the right side kick panel. But if you have the infinity amp thats were it would be.

Message: I own a Ram 1500 Quad Cab, but I can't seem to find a decent set of Kicks for my truck so I thought I'd try your site for help. If you can tell me where to get some, that would be great. It sound like those Q-Logic ones are garbage, but I don't want to pay 500 buck for cutom ones.
THanks guys

Message: stony22 or anyone that can help,
I am looking for kick panels, but I don't want to spend $150+ S&H on the Q-forms. Do you sell kick panels or know someone that does? Or do you know how to make them? Please email me at vball005@yahoo.com if you have any information. thanks!
