Subject: Where to put my amp

Hey I have two audiobahn 12's and im about to get a 1200 watt amp to power them. The amp is two feet long, one foot wide, and three and a half inches tall. I was wondering where i could hide this in my truck. I have a 2000 ext cab.

Your from ATM so you should mount it on your windshield so we can make aggie jokes! lol

Depends on how much you like your back seat, you may have to start working your way up with stuff. I removed the seat cushions and mounted a 3/4 sheet of mdf and mounted my amp (along with other stuff) on that. Then built a cover over that, and carpeted it.

Now I scraped the thunderform and have all my components under the seat and have 1 twelve taking up the smaller back seat.

Not much room for big amps plus woofers and a full back seat.

I guess you mean the tool tray?

Remove the bolts that hold it down and lift. You may have to remove the side trim to get it out.
