Do you have a crossover?

You may have the LP/HP crossover reversed. Check that out first.

Try connecting the sub to the rear ouput RCAs. I'm not familiar with that head unit, but if you have the sub connected to the front output RCAs the headunit may be using that connection to override the internal amplifier's output.

If I am reading your post right, you say that there are no highs coming out of the sub. Well, the sub is only supposed to produce low freqs from 125hz and down. So if that is the case then you got it hooked up right.

Hope these two answers help!

What year is truck ? DOES it have infinty Package with Amp . Blue wire has to be hooked up for remote . Is it all speakers in truck that are not working ? You said just bass no hi. Did you use RCA's for hi's or wire's ? Maybe you need test Speaker . SEE if it's working from the head unit. I had same problem when I installed alpine no hi's . Didn't hook up blue Wire for factory AMP. That was firt 2001 dakota 4.7 cc 355 around . 2 month of 2001 now on second 2001 truck . first truck had rear end problems second one is ( GREAT ).
