I noticed that people are telling you to go with focal, they are great but not well worth the money, I still think eclipse would be the way to go.

Im an installer on my off time from the military... I know the majority of the products that they talk about and use? I've heard the majority of them in different setups. Including a couple of components sets that they havent mentioned. Like rainbow components, dynaudio, and other european components. The majority of american components and speakers dont sound as well as european speakers. I've been drinking and can no longer respond to post... I'll finish up in the morning.

Well I currently have a set of Rainbow PRO Line CS265-P3 components in my doors with the tweeters in the A-pillar and I love them.

When I first got my Dak I put Boston Pro series comps in and was not to happy, weak mid-bass and an extremely harsh tweeter.

You are correct Euro speakers are a class above American speakers.

If you like an aggressive in your face sound go with the Focal Utopias, if you want a more laid back sound go with the Rainbow Pro's.

I have the Infinity Kappa 6.5 Components in my Quad and have the tweeters flush mounted in the headliner in the corners just above the a-pillars. And replaced the rear speakers with Infinity 6x9s. With an Alpine head unit and the system sounds excellent, the next upgrade will be a fold down TV for my daughter.

Z-Tube, R/T Rims, SSB Rear Disc Conversion, Alpine Head-Unit, Infinity Kappa Speakers, SilverStar Headlights, HO Cams & Intake installed.

Got H.O. ?
