 Subject: bad reception

I have a stock am/fm tape deck in my 2001 quad cab. I added a 12 disk jvc cd changer when I first purchased the truck. I also changed my spark plugs to autolite 3923's about 6 months ago. Approx. 4 months ago the radio reception has become bad and I get static. However the static does not sound like engine noise and is not present when listening to cd's. Any idea of what could be causing it?

Yeah did you hook the cd changer up to the antenna? If you did than the adapter is loose. pull out the radio and push the plug together
