 Subject: Radio/CD PlayerTrouble Turns On and Off

Radio/CD player may work for some time, but then it will start to turn itself off and then on very rapidly. My dad and I checked the wires months ago, and it worked for a little while but then it started up again. Shutting the glove compartment strongly helps sometimes, or hitting the dash, or turning on/off different electrical switches. Going over the stupid potholes in the road effects it also. Does this sound like an electrical short, a wire loose, or something else that I am not thinking of?

Sounds like a poor ground. Check the wires, again. Or stop in at a local stereo shop.
