Subject: OEM spark plug wires IP: Logged
Message: Do you think I'll see a major difference in power switching from 8.5mm MSD superconductors to 7mm OEM wires on my 97 5.2 cc? Seems like maaaybe marginal to me but I've never tried it so I don't know. I don't have time to cut/crimp and assemble the bigger cables.

Message: edelbrock shorty headers, 3" catback flowmaster exhaust, K&N cold air intake, all custom pulleys, helix TB spacer...stuff like that. I did have a hyertech power programmer on it but it's broken so nothing major really.

Message: None of those mods will make the cylinder harder to fire, so going back to a quality stock type cable won't change anything; except saving you time and money.
