Subject: engine mods IP: Logged
Message: how much can you change on your dak with out voiding your warrentee? exhaust? throttle body? throttle body spacer? using a high flow air induction system? anybody know for sure what you can legaly do under warrentee?

Message: I've been told by my dealer that as long as there is nothing intrusive to the engine, there is no problem. I was also told that a lift kit, though, would void the suspension warranty. For confirmation, contact a Dodge dealer [or 2 or 3] in your area or e-mail Dodge directly. [If the E-M is in your favor, keep a copy for back-up]. I've installed an AirAid induction system, throttle body spacer and had a 3" exhaust installed. Runs well, sounds good and the dealership has had no comment [except '...nice!..."] when I went in for my periodics. Happy Trails!,...D

Message: i have all of the mods in my sig, and a 4/6 drop, and a differant overall tire diameter on it (it throws off the speedo and odometer) and they still do warrenty work
