Message: just for info, the stock therm on my 2002 4.7 is a 195 therm. if you go with a therm much lower than that i can guarantee you will get an engine light on reading that the engine stays too cold too long. trust me i went with a colder therm with my KB S/C (160) and the engine light kept coming on with the same fault code. put the 195 back in and no problems. it would seem any auto parts store could order you one.

Message: I've been using a Robert Shaw 180 degree for quite sometime now, no codes. It is my understanding if you go with a 160 degree, you might trip a fault code.

Message: Skitter, as far as I know, no one is going to list a direct fit 180 or 160 thermostat for the 4.7L but, most people purchase the Stant 180 T stat# 65358 or
Robert Shaw GT755-180 and modify them by filing a notch in them like the OEM one.
