 Subject: major problem with mine

i got a 95 dakota with the 318, i got it about 2 weeks ago and it ran fine, then it started boggin down randomly and dying but if i kept the RPMs up it would run and then the oil light would come on.
now lately its just been runnin for maybe 5 minutes then quittin immediatly
not throwin any codes or anything
i was thinkin fuel pump but i cant figure why the RPMs would matter for that none, crank sensor is functioning properly, only thing i can think of is the oil pump, but as far as i know engines will run without oil, they just dont like it so i dont think thats it, so im thinkin fuel pump, but i dont know, any suggestions would be helpful

Check the fuel filter. If it's external to the fuel tank, replace it. If it's internal to the fuel tank, well then, good luck.
