Message: Can anyone tell me the effects of a new hood with the scoops in it? I've seen pictures of Dakotas with these hoods and I think they look pretty cool. I think there is one called "Shaker"?
I have a 2000 CC 4x4 4.7L V8 and I am wondering, does getting more air under the hood improve any performance, or is it just for looks? Will rain or snow getting in there have any effect? Dust or dirt? Thanks a lot.
