Alright you master mechanics,
When I pull in my driveway, me truck rpms down to below 500 rpm for a second or two then goes back up to idle, sup with that? also, the tranny gears sometimes sound like they are rubbing. My friend said I probably need to get the tranny fluid swapped out. Not too mention my mileage BLOWS, 140 per fillup, my friend's dad's dak gets bout 250(no mods), HOW?? yeah I got kind of a heavy foot, but would that affect it that much?? any help is appreciated.

I got that horizion or whatever it is plan. at least I hope they cover new engines, but I just bought the truck used like 2 weeks ago, so either fix it, buy me a new engine, or I could drive the truck up their bums like a pineapple in hitler's butt(Little Nicky)

when you are getting 140 miles a fill up...how much is a fill up (gallons)?....what tank do you have?
what do you mean "rubbing"...is it mechanical sounding, late on shifting, slips, or what?
changing the fluid couldn't hurt...go to a trans shop that will suck all of the old fluid out...no sense in just replacing the stuff that is in the pan.

Well, when i fillup the pump reads about 12 gallons, don't exactly know what size tank. It sounds like the gears rubbing(grinding, maybe) against each other. It also sometimes shifts late too.

Sounds like you have a 15 gallon tank and your friends dad has a 22 or 24 gallon tank.

probably but it shouldn't be that bad. Also doesn't really help with engine problems. Something else, my steering wheel seems to pop or clunk when I turn. can kinda feel it through the brakes too. But I'm gonna get some stainless steel drilled rotors and titanium pads soon.

i have the 15 gallon...i only get about 180 miles till the light comes on but that made me wonder and i did the math after filling up and found out that that darned light comes on when there is still 3 gallons left....i can take it to about 240 until i am almost out....and that is me driving it no very nice.

wow im glad i dont have a 15 gallon tank...ugh
i get between 180 and 310 usually 220-260
id be getting like 100 miles a tank on 15 lol
