ok i was just wanting to know instead of buying a new throttle cable could i just drill out the disk on the v8 tb and replace it with a ball stud?
i am in the process of buying a tb from an 01 dakota rt (my truck is a 98 sport rc 3.9 AT)
also what about my cruise control and tranny kick down? will they still work ok?
thanks for your help i am currently awaiting a resopnse from dodgedakotas.com as i have paid for my memborship and have yet to recieve my username and password (i already confirmed it with my number) i cant wait :-)

I put a v8 throttle-body off of a 99 360 Dodge Durango on a 97 v6 dak. I ground the disk down till the stock ball stud throttle cable fit, do it a little bit at a time till it fits. I also went to NAPA and picked a double return spring for GM carburetor engines. The v8 tb had a stiffer linkage than I liked, the return spring made it feel more like stock and the cruise control liked it better too.
