Message: I have a 97 Dakota Sport ext.cab, and 5 speed.
I have noticed that it's very slow compared to my friends 02 SXT model. What are some good, cheap ways to build power with my truck? The only mod I've really done is dual exhuast (dummy duals, i just wanted the noise ;[)

Message: Thanks Larry, what about AIRRAID intake systems? Are they just as good as K&N? I was also considering AEM, but every other ricer in town has AEM stickers on it. I really don't want my american truck to have any part in it :/

Message: AIRRAID is just as good as any other cold air set
up with a cotton filter for better flow
Even a home made system with a cotton cone filter
some PVC and rubber No Hubs will work just as
good, I have seen a lot of these home brew's that
work great
They are so easy to make and the cost is about
1/4 of what you would pay for a name brand with
a fancy alm tube
