Message: Hello there guys n gals.I don't get involved just read.learned a hell of a lot just reading. I'm like a lot of people here who don't want to spend $250! for an air filter and a tube.Heres a site that home brewers might be interested. There's tubing, rubber elbows as well as steel elbows, clamps for decent prices. I'm going to start browsing myself. I hope this link works for you. Happy n Safe motoring.

Message: Frank,
There is nothing wrong with home made stuff I see
a lot of home made cold air setups that work just
as good as something you would pay $2 $300 for.
I would recommend doing it and save your money to
put gas in your truck so you can go out and have
fun driving it.
Its just that some people like to pick on others
for doing it, I think it shows creative imagination
The first set of headers we had my brother and
I took a week to build them with some flat stock
and some tubes my dad had laying around on
a 1957 Chrysler new Yorker with a 392 hemi
they may have not looked like a set you would
buy but they worked.
Hec we still have that 57 Chrysler and it still runs
and we were just kids when we built them
I will put a pic up we have 2 of them and plan on
restoring them someday
