Subject: RE: Ported my TB IP: Logged
Message: Brian you might have to drill out the plug that covers the idle screw on your throttle body so you can lower your idle.It is located in front of the throttle cable attachment on the passenger side .The screw is a torx style. If you done everything you (& everyone here)can think of so far,you may just have to play with the idle screw.Drive it until it's hot (10 Minutes)Take off your air hat and let the engine idle. While it's running, put your thumb in that hole in the back of the t/b.REv it up by hand and let it fall back to idle. This may take 2 people. After it falls back to idle, turn the screw counterclock wise SLOWLY until the desired idle speed is met.If that doesn't work you probably ported too much.
