i have a 87 v6 4x4. i was wondering if anyone out ther has tried to fit one with a v8,or where i could get aftermarket parts to remove 4x4 and then fit a v8.

I can't really answer your question, but I heard on more than one occasion that the GEN1 4x4's couldnt fit a V-8, So you'd probly need to make it a 2x4, which in my opinion would kind of suck,but it depends on what you use it for.

i have a complete 87 dak 4x4,auto, i,d sell for $450,it has a new rebuilt carb i paid about $200 for and it has been converted to electronic ignition,it,s been setting awhile now,some rust,broken windshield,great parts truck,

its not a 2x4. a 2x4 is a piece of wood. a 4x2 is a 4 wheeled vehicle driven by 2. somehow it really annoys me when people call trucks a piece of wood.
