Message: I was looking at a diagram of the front suspension for my 99 2 wheel driver and it looks like you have to buy the whole swing arm if you want to replace the ball joints!! Is this true or what?? The repair diagram i was looking at wasn't too clear on that.........

Message: From mopar yes but if you buy moog or what ever the name is you can get them separate. Ask Lesley she knows all about it.

Hey CW, thanks for the complimtent but I was just lucky enough to find a shop that knew what they were doing. The Chrysler dealership will not sell you the stock ball joints alone, and the whole assembly for uppers and lowers are around $1200 Can.for parts alone. I went to a reputable shop that put moog ball joints, upper & lower for $760, labour included. These aren't sealed and are greasable. Here is a site with pics if you are going to do it yourself.
