Subject: exhaust for s/c IP: Logged
Message: Hi All,
I am getting everything lined up for this winter's modifications and am wondering if I should change anything on my exhaust system to accomodate the Vortech supercharger.
Currently I have JBA headers, custom 2 1/4" y-pipe, Carsound cat, Flowmaster single outlet muffler and no tailpipe. Also, on the intake side I have a Flowmetrics 48mm TB and a ported & polished intake manifold.
I am planning on only running the "stock" 6 lbs until I do some head & bottom end work.
With my exhaust system so free-flowing will I be able to see the full 6lbs on my gauge?
Thanks,
Chuck Robbins

Message: i think that exhaust would be good enough for that supercharger. Dont know about the boost though. Go ahead and run the 9lb.... the 6lb is almost non-existant on our sixers.
