Subject: ASP Crank Pully IP: Logged
Message: Ordered my ASP crank pully today along with one for my wifes new car. Any tips, tricks, problems with installing this?? Do you think I'm gonna be happy with this 70 dollar modification??

Message: I think its a great mod. Slight power gain plus a mileage boost. Took me about 1/2 hour to install. I didn't need to take the clutch fan off; ran belt around the fan. Just remove the belt, remove old pulley (six bolts I think), install new pulley reusing original bolts, install new (shorter) belt.

Message: EWWW, better mpg, HAHA. Ok thanks for the info. I read one post saying you did take fan off, another saying you dont. Just didnt want to take more apart then I had too. Thanks again!!!

Message: I liked the gains I got down low from the crank pulley. I also did mine with the fan/shroud on. Might want to look into removing the shroud, but it's not necessary, just kind of a PITA.
