Hey, does anyone out there know the stock 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times are on a 2000 dak. I already blew the doors off my buddies '94 ford probe and his 0-60 is somewhere around 8.7 sec.

8.7! Wow thats slower than i exspected. I dont think the dak's time is close to that, i was thinking like 5 or 6?? and all i have is a lead foot, plugs, wires, homemade intake, and 4x4 weight..
Let me know if you find the stock time.

Uhh we are taling about V6 dakotas right I think you guys should be overn in the WRX board I know we are not in the 5-6 sec range. But I dont know what they do run stock. I have jet chip stage 2 intake exhaust autolite 180 stat and some other stuff I know its faster that stock but dont know what my 0-60 time is

I have a 2001 dodge dakota with the 3.9l v6 5spd and I get just above a 6.6 0-60 time, knowing that my buddies old firebird is timed at 6.7 and he has an automatic so there isn't much of a time difference, I can beat him 0-60 where the back of my door is at his front bumper

i dunno what your smokin andy and steve, but before i got my tb on i took many 0-60's and i pulled consistant 10 second (no lower than 10 no higher than 11) times, and it wasnt done by me it was done by the passenger.

In the new August issue of TRUCK TRENDS they put the dak r/t vs. a lightning and a TRD tacoma and the r/t ran a 7.8 0-60 so 10 is about right I would say unless you have a supercharger

yeah guys... your being a little over optomistic on that one...
in the eight mile i ran a 8.95@79.8mph
now that would be somewhere in the low 6s in the 0-60 (5s if i had a locker) but i was using a 100 shot of nitrous

Maby my truck is a freak of nature. I pulled that tube out of the front of the air box yesterday and i was driving tobay and floored it at obout 25 mph and it started spinning, no mods just the ristrictor taken out.

Perhaps its a Hemi v6! With everything i have done to my truck i am running mid to low 8's. Sorry guys but Intense is right......This is just a dreamworld that we are livin in, until Bernd gets those turbo kits on the market....then we will see some 6's......

if i keep the truck in first, i can "chirp" the tires. i have 3.21 gearing which is about 4000 rpm. keep in mind that i have 31" BFG's which are still warm from todays heat.

just remember this.... tire size, quality, age, roads, gears, transmission..
he could spin them good if he wanted to.... but from a 25 mph start.... that is kinda hard to swallow.
have have spun my "tire" about 108 ft without nitrous on a dry concrete surface (not asphalt). It was in a store parking lot... with the nitrous i spun them from one end to the other BUT had to stop... probably would of done it longer. My tires are 255/60/15 and they "were" new when i did that. Now keep end mind of all my mods, LADDER BARS, and drag shocks and coil overs... The only time i could ever spin them from a 15+ mph start was with nitrous, and i could do it from 40 mph

This is never going to end, is it? I have a bone stock 2000 dak, the only thing that I have done it ripped out that usless tube in front of the airbox. In the next week or so I'm getting a k&n drop in filter and I'm going to cut out the front of the airbox(poor mans intake). If I sell my system than I'm going to get a 50 series delta flow flowmaster. I have the 3.55 rear end and an Auto tranny. My tires are the 255/65 R15's. When I was passing that slow moving car I'm starting to think that I jusked the wheel hard enough to but the truck in a small powerslide.

yeah i believe it if you were stopped, but yeah 25 is kinda fast to be spinnin in a stock dakota, i wish i could spin em at 25....
intense, with the nx 100 shot you could light em up at 40! wow thats very impresive, only 1 tire but still, thats sick, ive talked to a few people about a nx kit for my truck but i think i'll wait till the headers and powertrax go in

yeah it is kinda sweet.... really miss the ol' nitrous. At the track i would hit the nitrous at about 2500 rpms and when i did the truck would get a little sideways and start spinning the slick... now that was cool as hell! Spinning tires on a drag strip

6.7 seconds yes its true V6 dakotas are just a tiny bit slower then lightnings. andy we are not talking about 0-45 counted in ur head here
andy counting 0,2,3,5,7,4,10,9,6.7!!!! wow pa this sure is fast
damn i should have gotten a five speed it would have taken 5.5 seconds of my 0-60
um yeah learn to count or something
2000 V6 4x4 CC auto(airaid, gibson sss)
0-60 in ~10.5-11.5 or 4.3 seconds if im racing andy or numbnute
the dumbest thing i ever heard and if u guys have superchargers or V8s it would have been nice if u said that 1st.
