Subject: MANUAL TRANS FLUID IP: Logged
Message: Just wondering what manual transmission fluid i should use in my 1998 Dakota 2WD V6. Dodge said i could just use like 10W 30 engine oil... is that ok? What is reccommended?

Message: A good synthetic trans fluid

ATF +4
The syn will also make it shift smother and run
cooler
After hearing that I would stay away from that
dealer, engine oil no no it does not have the
lubricating propertes trans fluid has and will
brake down faster
