Message: When starting, it clicks, catches, sometimes starts and other times starts clicking again. Has been doing this for a year. Don't think its the battery. My riding mower did the same thing and I replaced the solenoid. Could this be the problem here? Where is the solenoid on this truck?
You suggestions appreciated.

Message: Take battery to Autozone and have them check the battery first. If it is bad get a new one. If you got a digital volt meter the batt should have 12 volts.
Check your connections on the battery cables. Clean and use a small amount ofn grease to help keep from corrosion starting back up. A little baking soda and water will cut the acid. Rinse with water when done.
If all this failsmthen remove the starter and have Autozone test it.
You ain't got nothing to loose. They test for free!
