Subject: Brake Pads? IP: Logged
Message: About to change my brakes and was just curious on what everyone is using. I don't need anything special or to expensive I just want as little noise as possible and as little dust as possible. Any suggestions?
I currently just have OEM pads. If I switch to ceramic do I need to do anything to the rotors? I thought I saw a post about that before but I can not find it.
Thanks for the help
Brian

Message: I have replaced mine, and I wish I did more to research it before I did. I found the front brakes are weak. I would suggest powerslot rotors and some good quality pads. But to answer your question, nothing extra to install the ceramic pads.

Message: Baller, you could use OEM again or any other quality pad unless you're autocrossing, heavy towing or racing. i have over 70k on my original pads and still have about 1/2 the pad left and no warpage. mines an '00 QC.
that's my .02
