new at this site guys, just wonderin what i can do to a 3.7v6 to give it a little more power. dont see much on here about the 3.7, is there a lot u can do to it?

larger throttle body and a cold air intake for starts... give ya few extra HP and TQ.... then you could move on to the exhaust and do a cat back system...

never heard one on a 3.7. i have a 3.9 and have a cheap Cherry Bomb Turbo muff. not too loud and not ricey until about 3500 RPM. works for me as it fits my budget.
you could try a search on some of the manufacturers like Gibson or Dynomax websites for sound clips.

the 3.7 and the 3.9 probably sound the same... i had a dakota with 3.9 with duals sounded good till about 3500 rpm mark then it got kinda loud... but then my intake cracked dumpped coolant into the motor and said hell with it... welded the crack took off the exhaust and traded it in for 02 Durango with the 4.7... you live close to Maryland or within 100 mile i'll sell the exhaust i got and drive to meet ya up to 100 miles....

hughesengines.com is doing throttle bodies for
the 3.7 around a 15hp gain
there are also custom cams avalible but very
expensive
I also heard threw the grape vine that superchips
was working on a tunner for the 3.7 or you can
call krc or B&G chrysler for a custom flash
there are jet chips for the 3.7 the gains are
mostly gas mileage and low end torque maybe 10hp
with there stage 2
a good cold air intake will also help and the
spacers also work on the 3.7 4.7 intake manifolds
they do nothing on the 3.9 beer barrel intakes do
to the design
