Subject: Alternative to Autolite Plugs IP: Logged
Message: I noticed many here suggested Autolite 3923 plugs for Dakota 3.9 V6.
Unfortunately Autolite not available in my town.
Any suggestions to other almost as good plug.
If I use cross reference for stock plug re:1999 Dakota it comes up NGK V power FR5-1 #7252 or in Bosch type Platinum +4 use 4418 or Plat reg # 4230
I hesitate to just cross reference the autolite 3923 because perhaps it is not as simple as that if it is a hotter or colder plug than stock.
Any suggestions on plug alternatives ???
Just aiming for better performance one step at a time and champion plugs in it look well worn.
thanks

Message: You can order them through www.discountautoparts.com
You will have to put in what kind of car you have so put in a 96 neon. and ask for six.

Message: I saw the Autolight 3923's at my local Wal-Mart! Of course that was after I paid about .30 more per plug at AutoZone....glad it's just a V6!!!
Might want to check there..........

Message: Thanks Tom
I did go to your site , fantastic !!! However I think I will wait till you have got the bugs out of shipping to Canada.
I am in Sault Ste Marie Ontario.
I did find a cross reference from autolite to champion and I assume it will be same temperature range but it might just not last as long as an autolite plug. Perhaps in a few months I will be looking at what is available from your site more seriously. I love owning a vehicle that so many folks seem to take pride in getting performance out of it.!! So lots of aftermarket .
