Perhaps ol' Henry's T had slightly looser internal tolerances? I think they threw lard in the crankcase when they ran low on oil.

I can find Amsoil at my local Mills Fleet Farm for cheaper than Mobil 1 Syn. So I went with that beings it's -20 some mornings here. Definetly alot less wear and tear on stuff when it's cold. Put syn in my transmisson I no longer have to wait to take off when it is severly cold or wait for 10 minutes before it goes into overdrive!
