Subject: need more power IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 rcsb. V-8 tb, magnaflow duals, "custom cat". it has a 5spd with a 3.20 rear. are the injectors from a 96 v-8 bigger or do they flow the same. I just came across a set for free. Also porting a intake for it this weekend. are there headers out there for the 3.9. thinking about msd 6a, e-3 plugs, 8.5 wires and maybe a coil. i am a auto tech at a small shop and theres not much performance in this town. the mitchell book says 175 hp. can i get 225+ without going in the motor. because i just put it in 10 months ago and it has only 11000 miles on it. any help please

Message: I doubt you are going to get that kind of power without doing some head work at the very least and probably a light cam profile change from what I've read to date.
