 Subject: Cold air intake 94 dakota?

Im looking for a cold air intake system for my 94 dakota, other then the one K&N makes any help would be much appriciated. Looking for the pipe look, sry for the poor termonlogy not quite sure on the exactly naming. Any help or direction would be awesome.

only way for us (genII) to get that look like that is to find an air hat from a junkyard and make the pipe ourselves. i am in the process of finding some parts to make a different idea that i am hoping will work as well as be different. if it works out ill post pics...when i find what i need.

Does the air lid off of the genIII daks match the air lid on the genII's? The diameter, i mean.

i had am using an air hat, i wish i knew what it came from it fits perfect. i have not put a pipe on it but i am trying to figure out should i collect air from a (fabricated)vent on the passenger side fender, threw my stillen air dam passenger fog light hole, threw the factory inlet hole and condenser hole or go to the junk yard and find a hood with a small scoop.
my first change for the filter was cutting the factory air canister flush around a k/n filter, it looked cool and sounded nice but improvement was very little-still getting hot air
if you find an air hat you will also need to find a crank case breather- the size was kinda hard to find.

You can use a cold air for a 94-02 dodge ram it works perfect on my genI.
