Subject: low gas=poor running IP: Logged
Message: This makes no sense but at times when my 94 v6 Dak gets down to between 1/3to1/4 of a tank of gas it will miss, stumble and just runs bad If I fill up tank it clears up and runs fine.It happens in all kinds of weather. Its been doing it for a while so if its the fuel pump it should have completly failed by now ??Any help is appreciated tanks in advance

Message: get the fuel pressure tested and compare it to what it is supposed to be, i dont remember what the spec is. that is a little bit odd, but maybe the extra weight is just enough to keep the pressure in the pump high enough to run.

Message: You're sucking water at the bottom of the tank (condensation). Add drygas, keep it filled higher.

"Heat" is the best they make a dry gas and a water remover, local wal mart carries it
have not had a prob in over a year since using it

Message: Alcohol is not corrosive. Long-term, in high doses, it may attack certain rubber parts, but it is safe to use occasionally (once or twice a season). STP makes a good product, as does Gumout.
