Subject: Wheels and tire 2X4 IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know what are the biggest tires I can put on a stock 2x4 ext. cab sport model. I want to go to a 235/70/16 has anyone else run this size? As near as I can tell they should fit seeing that a 235/75/15 is an optional size for this vehicle. They would be mounted on 16x8 rims with a zero offset. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: I just got some trxus MT's , 265/75/r16's mounted and balanced on my stock alloy sport rims. They fit wonderful in the back (beautiful) but the front rubs when the wheels are turned. (sigh). I just ordered a Performance Accessories 3" body lift to fix that situation. I will be posting some before and after pics of my 2WD dakota extended cab once it's all said and done. Hopefully it'll help anyone else who is curious how to do that.

Message: Thanks for the info if those monsters fit I should have no problem. Is your Dakota the old body style Pre-97?

Message: Are you putting the PA body lift on yourself?
Is it difficult for the 02 dakota model?
