Message: I'm back from the dyno. I can't justify these numbers. I had an average peak HP of 216 and an average peak torque of 336. There was a sharp spike in the curve at both of those. If you remove the spike the actual peak HP would have been 205 and the average peak torque would have been 280 and that's what I'm calling it.
For the record: 205rwhp @ 3300rpm and 280ft-lbs @ 3200rpm.
If you divide those numbers by 0.8 you get 256hp and 350ft-lbs of torque. Those numbers nearly match the factory rating of 250hp and 345ft-lbs of torque.
There are no mods on this truck. It even has a cheap Wal-Mart air filter. By the end of next month I plan to add JBA headers, Platinum Plugs, Flow-Master, Clutch-Fan removal, and a cold air kit. Right now the IAT hasn't even been adjusted. It is unmolested!
The best part of this run was the fact that the RWHP stayed above 200 from 3650rpm to 4500rpm. I've heard so many people reporting 190rwhp on the R/T's. THIS THING IS BONE STOCK!! I don't even have sythetic oil in this thing yet. I can easily gain another 5rwhp just by changing all the drive train fluids to synthetic.

Message: Nice numbers Wiplash.
The only comment that I have is that I have been reading that the dakota drive train is closer to 76% effective (not 80%).
