Mike S,

You from Louisville?

I race at Hardinsburg...about 45 min to a hour from Ohio Valley.

You going to be racing in the OVO or OSCA with that Camaro?

We are planning to race at the OVOS shoot outs,as long as they do not cause schedule conflicts. We do over half of our testing at Ohio Valley. Last year we ran a few OSCA races but for personal reasons we have decided not to race OSCA any longer. The Camero is black with purple SS strips. Maybe we can catch you at the Valley.

Interesting fact about Gimli. In the early 80's an Air Canada 767-200 lost both engines due to fuel starvation. They landed at Gimli, while people were about to start drag racing on the runway. I believe it still holds the record for heaviest aircraft to glide the distance and time it did, unless that Air Transat A330 beat it record. Crazy Canadians, always running out of Jet A.

Thats a very true fact. The plane ran out of fuel because the conversion between liters and gallons was done incorrectly I believe. Or it wasn't done at all.

That plane still serves with Air Canada.
