the best performance mod for the 3.9 is the 3.9 to 5.9 swap, this will really wake your dakota up

Yeh, the last I checked Larry was getting a little over 300hp on the engine of his 3.9 and 267hp on the rear wheels... That was before his last upgrade:)) That's also naturally aspirated and getting right around 25mpg in the summer out of his automatic tranny and low gear setup... Just immagine what a 5 or 6speed with his setup could get with decent higher rear gearing... BUT he is the person who you need to talk to on all of this stuff indeed...

Sounds like we all need to talk to Larry. Anything that will make a 3.9L better applies to the 5.2/5.9L. WOW! 300hp from a 3.9L N.A. That's all I want out of my 5.9L.

You should check out Hughesengines.com, they have more parts than i have found anywhere, if more people get interested in these parts, they may make more.

Now there's a thought. If we could work together on this and make one place our main place for ordering performance parts, maybe we could get more variety and better prices. There's no reason we should have to pay twice as much for our parts as Chevy owners.....
I like Hughes myself. That's probably where I'll get my cam.
