b1llyw, do you know if the HO cams are being sent out on time?
It's been about 2 weeks for mine now and I was really really hoping to get them by this weekend so I can install them. Next weekend I am making another trip to the Dunes. It could be the last trip until after summer so I'd like to see what kind of a difference the HO cams would make pulling the same load and same drive.
If they perform as I hear, I'll be sure to tell others. Not too mention I like to take photos of my installations so I can remember them and OTHERS can see step by step.
Thanks for any info.

OK. After a few days of no tracking number or anything I decided to call. Someone immediately answered the phone and I found out I'm next on the list for the NEXT batch of cams to come in. So I guess I'm looking at one more week or so to get my HO cams. It's been a little over 2 weeks so far so this bums me out. But from what I hear KRC is about the best place to even get the cams. The guy at KRC says they have a tough time getting the cams as fast as they go out. Or something like that.

I don't know about HO cams but KRC was the only place I found where I could get my 3.9l cam. It did take a while to get it, it was around the holidays and alot longer than 2/3 weeks but it was worth the wait, although I still have not got the truck tuned right. Just give it a week or two more, it will be worth it.

KRC orders them custom cut to there specs from Comp cams not a jeep dealer.

F*cking Mopar, pardon me. The 200 cams we do get direct from Mopar. They are the only cams we have that we don't get ground. Of the last 6 sets we got in, at least two have been mispackaged. Correct part numbers on the sealed boxes, but all passenger side cams. We'll keep plugging but it's killing us on filling orders.

I wouldnt hammer KRC too much. I ordered my cams from another popular shop and it takes a couple of days just to get an e-mail response from them. By the way, I ordered mine 1 1/2 MONTHS AGO! Im wondering if they are going thru the same problems. If they ever contact me again I'll have to ask.

BADENOF...you don't know what your talking
about. All the cams originate from MOPAR.
The KRC #200 cam is a stock HO cam that
can be bought from any MOPAR dealer.

Mopar is screwing everyone with these cams as far as shipments go. I was told once again mine would go out today. This is the third time. I dont think any of the companys have any control over when they go out or if they are packaged right. After all Ive heard and how long Ive waited Im expecting mine to be 2 of the same ones and have to go thru the B.S. of sending them back. woo hoo cant wait.

DC GUY..... I never said that KRC didn't send Comp Cams the cams to be cut, I assumed that most people knew that, excuse me, I didn't know that guys who order parts from jeep dealers for their dakota's had to have things spelled out for them. You just keep putting jeep parts on your dodge, and leave us big boy's alone.

BADENOF...There arn't any DODGE HO CAMS.
They are from the Jeep HO 4.7's. Until 2005
Dodge did not have an HO 4.7.

BADENOF........Just wanted to establish the
fact that you don't know about cams or KRC.
Marty is the ONLY guy that has spent his time
and money on the 4.7's. If it was not for him,
we would all be stuck in the 15's, instead of
almost in the 13's. If you have a beef with him,
email him or call him. He doesn't have the
time to come on this board and defend
himself.

Bummer about the cam mix ups. I'm one of the guys waiting for the HO cams from KRC.
I trust I'll be getting them soon. If all goes well I'll still send business their way. They seem to be one of the only few who have invested time into the 4.7
I thank them for that. And if we all show support maybe we will find more aftermarket and shut up some of the nay sayers who put down the mighty 4.7 from Mopar!
