 Subject: Need info on Mopar PCM

Hey guys as you may know I just got my R/T last week well I knew it was going to be a little more power than I 3.9l but do stock r/t's usually break'em loose doing 60 when downshifting well I am just needing some info on how to tell if I have a HIPO pcm because this thing can really move boys.

Check the tag on the PCM...if it's Mopar Perf. you'll know. Breaking them loose on a downshift at 60? hmmm...

Wow! Sounds like the 98R/T I had. That thing ran like a striped ape. I don't think a S/C would make my 2000R/T run as good as my N/A 98R/T did. My 98 would break the tires loose every time at any speed below 45mph. It never did it at 60mph, but it did do it a couple of times at 50mph going up hill passing trucks. That was a RUSH lighting the tires up while passing someone. My 2000R/T will barely chirp the tires at 20mph when you punch it and it drops down to 1st gear. It sometimes chirps the tires shifting into 2nd gear. My 98 did it everytime at speeds under 30mph if you punched it to the floor.

Ya I think this truck is special man it was definately not drove before I got it but the main reason I picked it up was because I wanted my own lil chunk of TRUE dodge performance and I plan on keeping it around for life it was manufactured in january of 00 and I have drove a couple of R/T's on test runs I drove a Red 98 and this truck really kicks the 98. I really need to get some numbers on this thing because its a true r/t.

Well what I need is what # to look for because if I am not mistaken both stock and MOPAR look the same I just need to know where to look.
