 Subject: Starter Coils

I have recently just purchased the Autolite AP3923s, NAPA cap and rotor and Taylor 8mm ignition wires. With that should I replace the starter coils or are the stock coils suitable and will nt burn up? I have heard that unless you run all stock ignition parts you need to change the coils because they will burn up. Thanks

I assume you mean the ignition coil and not the starter coil? If so, then you can use the stock coil with the parts you have without any problems.
