LuvmeR/T, i love my truck for one reason i think. Ive done all the work to it myself from tinkering with the engine, to changing the rack & pignion steering and leaf spring. Done all the exhaust work and tuning. At times i think "why didnt i just take this somewhere and have it done". But when you're all finished and take it for the test drive, its all worth it. Theres alot of fun and aggrivation in working on your truck but it kinda creates a bond. Its kind of funny you are going into the police academy, i am as well in a year once i get my bachelor's degree. Dakota drivers have something more in common than the trucks they drive.........?

im in san angelo,hemi eater.and thats cool youre going to the academy too, antifun.im going to be working at my degree while im a cop,gonna be alot to deal with.and i plan on doing all my mods myself too,except for the charger.i had a 72 chevy that me and a buddy built and there is no greater feeling than playing with something you made yourself.sold the chevy for the r/t about a year ago.and all the parts i have in stockpile,ALREADY,i will do myself.and at the rate of what im saving,i should(pending any unforseen disasters) have a charger in 8 months.im not blowing smoke up anyones ass,why should i care?im only telling you what im doing for conversations sake,its not like i can race you or anything.you want smoke?within 5 years i plan on having an f-15s jet engine strapped into the bed.and for you people that might be a little dense,that was a joke.

i have a 99 cc r/t. gs motorsports headers, dual 3 inch exaust. harland sharp 1.6 rr, krc 220/230 cam, keith black forged piston, mopar performance pcm, smc alcohol injection system, 3 angle port job on the heads with beehive springs.mopar m1 2b intake and a 52 mm throttle body, plus many more mods, and ohh yea a kenne bell supercharger. I hardly ever find any thing that can beat me. I have race cobras, lightnings and anything else that will race. I have never been beaten by a modded dak of any kind. I believe that the r/t's have the best potential of all the daks they are just a bit restricted from the factory.

I have a 2000 r/t custom exaust, larger cam, headers plus flowmasters- makes a truck sound very unique, i havent heard any truck like mine. Roller-rockers, lifters, K&N filter,shift kit. I also have a toneau cover and i slamed it a couple inches (no low rider just a good stance)

A stock 92-93 5.2cc will beat a stock 98-2003RC R/T. I've done it several times.

hemieater,mines a 2002 cc r/t,and all i have on it now is custom true dual exhaust with v-force mufflers.gonna have the mufflers cut out soon and have spintec or magna flow put in.those damn v-force mufflers sounded great for a couple of months but now they are making a nasty rasping noise that sounds like its an exhaust leak,but i found out its the muffler!

i have a stack of parts waiting,but no sense talking about them because they arent on yet,apparently people around here get all butt hurt when you do i guess.do you see many r/ts running around there in midland?ive only seen maybe 5 others around here.id like to see phidelt169s truck,beat that thing with your stock 92-93 dak.

Theres about about6 r/t's barking over here in midland. Mine is really unique though, most of the ones over here arent slammed and dont have that many mods, but over in odessa im not sure theres always alot of nice cars comeing over to play. Havent yet been beat by a truck.. well except for a lightining started pulling me at 76 mph ( supercharger sucked me up). I have to race at a roll, my tires cant handle the horses.
Ya i dont like to talk about what im gonna put on next, i kinda just do it then talk, im compulsive like that.
Tell me your best kill though. Im curious

mines almost stock,so my only glory stories are beating gt and ss "light to light".i did pull on an early 90s vette once but it looked pretty wragged.what used to be fun,but now is boring,was beating the crap out of all the 5.2 sports and 4.7s that pull up next to me with a chip on their shoulder.ive said it on here before,im mostly interested in making mine a lightning killer.those guys pull up to me and pick on me all the time.not much i can do about it right now.

oh,once i beat a zo6 vette,but i dont think he knows we were racing!

The other difference that nobody talks about is the Gen-11 will seat three adults comfortably where the Gen-111 will not easily seat two adults and a child.

Well the topic was old 5.2's....
My old 5.2 was my forst car a 1970 dodge dart swinger(who knows that car?)and the 318 was a good match to the weight of the car for a good street car.. but remember during that time the HP wars were on..imagine a Dodge dart 500lbs litter than me with a Worked 340..(factory).
Yep[ in those days HP was a selling factor..
O.K. to my point..
My old 1970 318 had less HP than todays 5.2's and there running on les octane..

O.K. M.O.P.A.R. can be built for any HP need..and MOPAR is the most used NHRA engines..
