OK,
The speed limiter in my '01 4.7L QC Automatic is really starting to piss me off. What's the fastest, easiest way to get rid of it.

I think the only way is to get a custom flash which will cost you some money. Im not sure but i think that the computer guy at chrysler can do it but he won't unless he is your friend.

I think the Jet chip gets rid of it as well.

I have a Jet Chip stage 1 and still has the limiter. I called up and they said stage 2 has limiter also. The chips can't get rid of it.

MOPAR PCM on my truck has no limiter that I've found yet. Shot to 120 and still had speed increasing. I'm guessing 145ish....$310 bucks plus $75 for my programming.

There are no base programs for the 2001 trucks at this time and using a prior year controller rarely works. I have a whole bunch of testers in my shop here. Hang in there, parts will be out soon.

Get the Mopar PCM. it does not have a speed limiter. jet chips do.

I agree with the Mopar PCM, advances timing 4 degrees and set new rev limiter at 6000 RPM
